[New] Slappy Chicken and Pancakes // Alter Ego In a short span of 2 years, Alter Ego has already made a name for itself in the Singapore’s café scene. It is a familiar name to avid café-hoppers, and very much known for its delicious poke bowls, smoothies (healthy fare) and everything cheesy and sinful. I celebrated my New Year’s Eve with my friends at Alter Ego last year and we all unanimously agreed that the food far exceeded our expectations. There wasn’t any dish that we didn’t like, and the portion was very generous. To welcome an exciting 2018, Alter Ego has recently rolled out a brand new Brunch menu bound to make everyone salivate. This menu draws its inspiration from the traditional brunch classics (avocado, toast, pancakes and poached egg) and American milkshakes but with a modern touch. Expect to see mouth-watering and innovative dishes such as Pokecado Toast, my favourite Pandan Waffle with Crispy Chicken and potent milkshakes.
